Getaway Trip to Batam

Here's the view at Harbourfront Terminal! 

The last time I went overseas was when I was 9 or 10 years I think. 

Pathetic.

+ my relatives brought me & my siblings there. parents didnt even go -.-

Coincidentally, my last trip overseas was Batam too! 

Y'see we went to Batam coz of the Groupon deal. 

Those deals tempt people everyday.. ):

Woke up bright & early. YAWN. 

Snapped along the way! 

Took a ferry after soooo many years. 

The haze was bad (psi 60+ me remember), can't even see the SG FLYER clearly.

had a fairly fine hazy view

amazed by what i saw from the ferry & on SG land itself.

Gave me the thought of "If you have not travel, you have not seen the world" 

- like literally.

Excited about the trip!

Reached around 10am+ Batam time. 

Compared the Standard room & Cabana room.

Settled for the Standard one coz Cabana area was freaking ulu. 

HATE IT. 

Hate places where it is quiet + ulu + creepy (whatever that adds)

Luv their swimming pool too. pretty much! 

Luv rooms with pool view. Gorgeous!

if you haven't already know, we stayed at Harris Resort! 

Excellent service, Fine food, Awesome environment! 

Had a bad afternoon coz the guide sucks. 

The damn deal did not state that there was half day city tour, so we only realised upon reaching Batam..

To make it worse, the guide left without us coz we were late for 10 mins.

Reason for being late: the safe in the hotel room was different from what bf used before. so we didnt know how. sucks. 

But Excellent service from resort staff calm us. 

They're wonderful people esp Ahmad, another girl & another guy (gosh i dont remember their name)

So.. we went to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall

Went to Everyday Spa immediately upon reaching coz bf went there & said it was good

Spend 2 & 1/2 hrs on massage - aroma message, body scrub & ear candling

SUPER SHIOK.

Had afew mins left so bought J.CO donuts (so cheap!) 

&

finally found a pair of shades that is sorta suitable for my face? cheap too!

wish we had more time to gai gai around

Took a taxi to Golden Prawn 933

think the food's bad. 

bf & other companions (from SG as well, decided to make friends with these 2 girls), said standard dropped.

p.s: go to taxi counter & ask for a taxi, let them know the directions & a fixed rate. 

better be safe than sorry y'know. 

Went for a swim on first day night & second day afternoon coz there was nothing to do

actually wanted to play water activities but 1st day had no time & 2nd day morning was raining + it was quite ex coz it was just two of us.

Had pizza on 1st day night & 2nd day afternoon before leaving.

yummy pizza for good price! 

it was very Italian style of baking the pizza! 

2nd day after book out (12pm batam time - so early. think its the only bad point)

We went for bowling (the deal stated an hour but staff said it was only A game -.-

Had fun nevertheless!

I was the winner (compared to bf & overall with the other 2 girls)

Heehee! Miss playing bowling!

But I'm considered the worst player since young. BOO.

The vehicle was constantly moving so I couldnt snap a proper one );
But it is so yummylicious! Luv it!
Totally a childhood drink. Don't think SG's supermarkets bring it in anymore ):

p.s: it is S$2.50 (pretty pricy right? i dont think it is thatttt expensive)
