Have you watched this?

I've been watching midnight movies with bf for the past 3 weeks of Saturday (i think).

Last week (14 Jan), we visited 112 Katong's GV cinema for the first time.
And boy, it is better than other outlets. In terms of layout and design.
Perhaps because 112 is a premium mall, if you call it.

It is sneak preview btw! Official release on 19 Jan!
So, the movie is a local production by Jack Neo.
I'm sure everyone knows his name by now. His scandal afew years back was nation wide.

Moving on.. I rate the movie 4.5/5
I love how it covers most of the social facts in Singapore.

For example,
(1) increasing number of foreigners living in HDB aparments as your neighbours,
(2) Cyber and School Bullying
(3) Crimes such as Loansharking and Spraying paint on HDB apartments walls/doors, Drug trafficking, Stealing, Printing counterfeit money
(4) Youths getting involved with gangs to have money
(5) Gambling
(6) How kids are becoming in today's society (disregard/no respect for parents and teachers - seniors)
(7) How some parents are teaching their children the wrong things
(8) Society looking down on certain type of students

Used to take Sociology as my first CDS (Cross Disciplinary Subject) and this film can be very useful.
