The making of pineapple tarts,
in the most traditional way.
Step 1
Grate the raw pineapple fruit.
So you'll see the grated ones and a small piece of pineapple.
Grate it until its gone, and you'll be left with the grated pieces
and lots of fresh pineapple juice.
Separate the grated pieces and pineapple juice.
Step 2
The drying process. Manually boil & stir the grated pineapple.
Add in sugar (brown + white OR rock sugar)
Then, here's what you have!
Step 3
Roll the dry grated pineapple into tiny balls!
Step 4
Prepare the crust and you're almost done!
Psst, do not have the recipe for it coz I didnt do this.
Psst, do not have the recipe for it coz I didnt do this.
Sissy did it!
Step 5
Use the tart cutter and cut out these from the dough!
Also put on rolled tiny pineapple balls.
Step 6
Bake it to perfection! Whoop it's finally done.
Step 7
Keep it in the container!
Equipments to make the pineapple tarts was borrowed from my neighbour,
they taught my sister how to make too!
This is the first year that we did the grating ourselves (bought 10 fruits & I grated 8),
if I remember correctly, it's the 2nd or 3rd time that we're baking it.
Can you see how those cuts on my fingers?
Omg sucks.
So here's the end of baking pineapple tarts.
Difficulty level: 4/5 (decreases with the number of helpers)
Gave away afew boxes and now we're left with little,
another time my friends!
HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY SARAH! (: (: (:
