Returned back to SG after a 6D5N trip from ... *drumroll*
Hangzhou & Shanghai!

It was a study trip and the flight was scheduled at 115am
Love the experience.

It was my very first time taking a plane and I was super excited yet nervous
Heard how fun it would be beforehand so I was slightly prepared already!
It was definitely exciting and the pressure wasn't that bad.

I was lucky to be almost near the window (one seat away)
But the view was amazing enough!

Snapped some pictures during my flight!
Witnessed the sun rise and saw the clear blue sky and puffy white clouds
EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL!!
The clouds look like white cotton candy, yes? (:

It was around 0635am when we landed at Pudong International Airport
Sun rise is much earlier there so the sky was beginning to brighten
AND THE WEATHER IS WAY TOOOOO SHIOK!!
I describe it as having an air-conditioner wherever we went (:

Meet our local guide, Eddy!

So we traveled to a restaurant to have breakfast.

p.s: I'll be stating differences b/w SG & China.
(1) Their bridges have different names! One end was ___ & the other end was ___
(2) There was different lanes for buses & cars vs motorcycles & bicycles. WOW.
(3) People disregard lives of pedestrian & traffic rules.

This was our breakfast restaurant.
Throughout the 6D5N, our meals at every restaurant were totally indescribable...
The only delicious meal was at a farmer's home but it wasn't totally perfect.
Even KFC & McDonalds' there tasted weird with different variety.
Pizza Hut was freaking cheap there thou. Food was fine!

Can't be choosers, can I.

(4) Volkswagen is commonly seen on the roads of Shanghai. Even taxis.
(5) The car plate number of vehicles have a chinese character before the alphabets & numbers.
Historical reason behind it.

A clearer view of the road difference.

We had the opportunity to visit Volkswagen Automobile Factory.
Another WOW.
Any idea what we did there?

We sat on this little cute vehicle and had a tour of the area!
We watched how workers assemble and manufacture the cars.
Photography prohibited so no pictures at all!

We also had the chance to visit Shanghai Coca-Cola Company!

The above photos are related to the history of Coca-Cola and how they have come so far!
We were given drinks and a goodie bag! Cute useful stuff inside!

We also took a walk in the production factory.
Along the way, there was advertisements by Coca-Cola since they started out.
It was really interesting!
The trip also made known to us that Coca-Cola produce a wide range of other beverage as well!

FYI, China has 2 main prepaid cards
One is very efficient in calling & will drain your money if you make international calls. And some might be able to text (mine couldn't and pissed me off coz others could)
And other is efficient in texting and vice versa.
If you want your prepaid to both, then you've to pay more money.
-.-

Best thing, get a prepaid from Singtel SG (think its called the World card or something?)
Go enquire but I'm not sure if there still is.

After which ended our short trip in Shanghai
and we took a super long journey to Hangzhou.
I managed to watch the sun set!
Look at the clouds!
And they have a flyer/wheel too. hahaha!

We arrived at our hotel in Hangzhou.
Hangzhou Braim Seasons Hotel - 4 star.

- Breakfast (as said..)
- Lodging (not bad! but there was 2 open mirrors. bed wasn't that comfy)

It was late at night when we arrived
So after checking in, we went to Wushan Night Market!

Lots of bargaining and cheap stuff! But high competitive rivalry, pushy crowds & quite dark.
So be careful!
