Day 2 - Hangzhou

We rose up early in the morning to chilly weather!
Morning started with a cruise down West Lake.

If you don't know, Hangzhou is a famous tourist attraction because of its rich historical background & scenery.
West Lake too. The scenery was simple breath-taking!!
Families taking a holiday should really come here just to relax.

I wished I could have sat on these mini boats.
It's so close to the water and fun!

After reaching shore, we walked through this garden area.
Full of greenery
Then we see more views of West Lake!

That's the pagoda! Tell you more about the story later on!

(6) The bushes are all rounded. Why?

Say hello to Su Dong Po!
thanks to the pretty guide, Ting, who reminded me,. hehe!

We visited a local beverage company, Wahaha Company.
Viewed the production process which is somewhat similar to that of Coca-Cola
Wahaha also manufacture a wide range of beverage
and their history was really interesting too.

Let me introduce, Future Cola.
Wahaha aims to target local farmers & people to support their Cola
as Coca-Cola is very popular among people there.

It is a MUST to watch Impression of West Lake
I enjoyed it thoroughly and you would too!

*doing a video with the pictures i snapped and downloading the theme song.
WATCH THIS SPACE!*

Here's the story about the pagoda & legend of the white snake:
and the gist of Impression of West Lake

Took a quick walk through Qin He Fang Ancient Street.
Lots of shops and stalls but not really interesting i guess?
There was spacious walk ways and lesser crowd.

p.s: there was alot of direct selling to consumers at the shopping areas we went to.
and a handful of beggars (some may look poor but some may dress well and tell a lie)
so beware again
ignore them and walk away!
