Day 3 - Hangzhou
Back to Shanghai @ night!
The day started off with a trip to Hangzhou West Lake District Tourism Board
A government agency board.
Hush hush inside and sat in a conference room for the 2nd time.
If my memory is not failing, the 1st was at Wahaha Company!
It was an impromptu decision to visit Mei Jia Wu Tea Plantation
Read more here.
But I'm sure most of us are glad!
Had a mini tour before we went into a conference room to see for ourselves, the goodness of Longjing Cha (Dragon Well Tea)
This is the drying process.
Another person I don't remember.
Hahaha
I always see colorful flowers blooming everywhere!
The tea village also had beautiful architectures!
The woman on the far left is really funny.
Step 1: After hot water is added in for the first time, smell the scent.
Step 2: You can now drink the tea. Lol!
1st grade on the right & 2nd grade on the left.
Gave massage a miss and
dropped by a shopping mall with Walmart, Watsons & other non-familiar brands!
Went grocery shopping and some stuff are cheaper/more expensive.
We bought cheaper ones of course!!
Last stop of the day was Zhejiang University.
We only went to one part of the uni.
The campus was so freakkkkking big and have a lake inside.
Students cycle as transport.
Math in Chinese?! KILLER.
So our guide for Zhejiang Uni was a 28 yr old female in her last yr of PhD
*she's like a giant and I'm like a dwarf. #fml what do they eat to grow?*
and another guy unknown of his details.
We were brought around to see and listen about the history of their school
Really amazing.
They had lotssss of historical ornaments but my camera died on me halfway
So these were what I took only..
Took a long journey back to Shanghai after dinz
But this time round we watched 1 & a quarter film!
One was Madam White Snake & another was Treasure Inn (didn't manage to finish this thou.. blog about it much later!)
for your convenience!
